How do Wi-Fi QR codes work?

A Wi-Fi QR code contains your network name (SSID), encryption type and password in a standard format that iPhone and Android cameras understand. Scanning it shows a “Join network” prompt. Your password is encoded only in the image — it is never sent to us. Print it for your home, office, café or Airbnb.
